The search of reserves for reducing of well construction periods becomes more and more relevant. That is why the main efforts are directed to increasing ROP and decreasing nonproductive rig times.

Permanent improvement of tools and productivity gain of PDC bits allows achieving considerable increase in ROP which is limited only by abilities of rig, surface equipment and effectiveness of used technology. |

Working with PDC bits has its own nuances as by virtue of design features, so and in terms of increasing of ROP in comparison with roller-cone bits which places special demands on bottom hole scattering, transportation to day surface, bits and drillpipes cooling and greasing, flow characteristics and thixotropic properties of flush fluid.
Realizing the requirements in own developments in the sphere of flush fluids Testing Drilling Mud Laboratory started working in 2005, then on the basis of laboratory was created Drilling Mud Department, and in November 2005 Drilling Mud Service was included into list of rendering services.

Drilling mud service is performed with the use of own patented compounds in which are selected the optimal performance characteristics for effective work of PDC bits in different mining and geological conditions on wells of any profile.

Drilling mud service includes:
- Development and confirmation of individual programs of washover including selection of systems and optimal compounds of mud to concrete technical and technological conditions;
- Rig audit carrying out, determination of readiness condition for service providing and ability of optimization of circulation system and mud cleaning unit;
- Delivery of materials and agents to well, if necessary creation of autonomy reserve;
- Works monitoring by qualified mud engineers who provided with accommodation, "OFITE" laboratory, personal protective equipment, office equipment and necessary software;
- Engineering service package provides twenty-four-hour guidance and control of preparing, support and regulating of properties during hole making according to approved program of washover;
- Carrying out of full complex of measures of flush fluid parameters using "OFITE" laboratory equipment under the standards API R.P. 13B-1, API R.P. 13B-2
- Work control and damage control and complications measures implementation;
- Control over rational expenditure and correct storage of material and chemical agents, optimal use of washover system equipment;
- Providing of daily and final well reports.

State Standard R 12.0.006-2002 (OHSAS 18001:1999).
